Breastfeeding

There are lots of ways you can find support in the area if you are breastfeeding – whether you just want to meet up with other breastfeeding mothers or you are looking for information and support regarding particular breastfeeding issues.

The branch has two local breastfeeding counsellors whom you can telephone for information and support. Please contact us on northcheshirenct@yahoo.co.uk for information on how to contact them.

There are also local breastfeeding support groups you can access. Warrington Primary Care Trust/SureStart/North Cheshire Hospitals also run a number of breastfeeding support groups. These are drop in groups where you will receive support from other breastfeeding mums, and also information from a midwife, health visitor or NCT breastfeeding counsellor, depending on
the group.
