Walk & Talk
Hosted by our fantastic volunteers, Walk & Talk groups meet outside and are a great way to enjoy some fresh air while meeting other local parents in your area.
Hello, we will meet outside the Cafe 1899, at the top car park, off Spring Lane. This walk is accessible for all but it is hilly in parts. The terrain can be gravelly in areas, given the amount of rainfall we've had of late, so a good sturdy pram system would be recommended.
There are a number of routes and we'll decide on the day when everyone has arrived. There is a cafe and toilets onsite and we'll start and end at these facilities. There is also different playparks to accommodate a variety of age groups. Coffee at the end is optional.
There are 2 car parks off Spring Lane, a lower and upper car park. The park asks for a donation and there are places to donate near the cafe area to help with the up-keep of the facilities. There is no formal pay and display here. Dogs are allowed at the park, please do follow the parks rules by keeping them on a lead.
Given our recent weather patterns, we will cancel where needed if there are highly adverse weather conditions on the day. Do check the Facebook group for updates nearer the time.
