As our course in January was so popular we are running another IN-PERSON Baby and Child First Aid course at this lovely venue. Our trainer from award winning Daisy First Aid will bring models so you can have a go at CPR, how to cope with choking, etc. The content that is covered includes: initial first aid response; recovery positions; CPR; choking; fevers and febrile seizures; anaphylaxis; meningitis; management of typical childhood injuries including burns, bleeding, bumps to the head, suspected fractures and poisons in the home. You will be shown the correct techniques to use for the different age groups from birth to adulthood. Numbers will be limited to give you plenty of chance to ask questions in this 3 hour session.
