Welly Tots is a very relaxed and friendly group who meet to take a short walk with our mobile toddlers while enjoying the many interesting distractions they find along the way.
Hunting for the perfect stick, jumping in muddy puddles and happy toddler dawdles very much encouraged!
Welly Tots is all about our little ones having an opportunity to stretch their legs and explore nature, we will walk at toddler pace with plenty of time for hunting for sticks or jumping in puddles.
Our walks take place on different days, giving lots of people the opportunity to come and join us, often running on Tuesdays and Fridays currently. Our next walks are all published on our Welly Tots Facebook Page. The walks start at 10am, and we meet at different locations, such as Eastnor Deer Park, St Wulstan's Local Nature Reserve and The Fold.
All mums and dads are welcome, and feel free to bring along grandparents, other relatives or a friend too. If you have a baby, please feel free to bring them along too, but some routes will be more suitable for babies in carriers rather than prams, so feel free to drop our friendly volunteers a message on Facebook and they will be able to advise further about each walk. Friendly dogs are also welcome but must remain on leads where livestock are grazing.
We'd recommend wellies for all our walks, and our brilliant Welly Library is a great place to pick up a pair of preloved wellies, as we know how quickly little ones grow out of their shoes!
Our walks are free to attend, and you don't need to be an NCT member to come along. If you do not have access to Facebook, please email our coordinator.malvernhills@nct.org.uk and we can put you in touch with our friendly Welly Tots volunteer team. Our walks can also be found on the NCT Local Activities Finder.
