At Redbridge & District NCT, our aim is to support new parents in as many ways as possible. After a successful pilot, we are delighted to continue our “Baby Bundles” project.
As well as supporting families through the Redbridge Childrens Centres, we have established partnerships with Redbridge Childrens Centre hub, North Middlesex Hospital, Brambles Children Centre Hub (Loughton, Chigwell and Buckhurst Hill coverage) and most recently with charity Aanchal in order to support families local vulnerable families.
Up to Dec 2022, we have supported 88 families.
Baby Bundles are packs of toiletries, clothes and equipment given to families who through poverty, premature birth, violence or events such as fire or flood, find themselves without the resources to buy the things they need for their labour and the first few weeks with their new baby.
How it Works
NCT Redbridge & District source donations, package up the bundle of baby essentials into a Moses basket and deliver the bundles to local baby banks.
