Our branch runs two groups in Staines, Bumps & Babies on Mondays and our baby and toddler group Jolly Tots on Fridays. We also run a monthly Sling Library and occasional First Aid courses. We are always looking for new volunteers to keep our groups running. Many of our volunteers are working mums who have to stop volunteering when they return to work. Having lots of volunteers means there’s less of a risk of us having to pausing our offering. If you feel that you can help (training and support is provided), then please do get in touch. Thank you.
Bumps and Babies
Our Bumps and Babies group is a friendly and relaxed Monday morning meet up for parents and parents-to-be. Have a chat, biscuit and cuppa whilst playing with your little one on the playmats with other babies exploring the toys. Our volunteers are there to give a helping hand and also organise occasional special events.

NCT SAE Bumps and Babies Facebook Group
Jolly Tots
From the just toddling to almost ready for school, our Jolly Tots group has toys and craft activities as well as 15 minutes of singing nursery rhymes to keep you and your little ones having fun. Run by mums for local families this group is a great option if you have children of different ages as we provide a space for babies to play safely too. We also welcome grandparents, aunts & uncles!

When: Friday mornings from 09:45 to 11:15am
Price: £3, 50p for siblings over 1.
NCT Walk & Talk
Are you in need of some fresh air and company? Our Walk & Talk events are currently paused as our volunteers returned to work. But if you are interested in helping restart them please contact us! Our walks begin and end in Staines Park, Lammas Park or Fordbridge Park. The walks usually last about 45mins and then there is opportunity to sit and have a chat/refreshments at the end.
Sling Library
Our sling library is open monthly running alongside our Jolly Tots playgroup. Prebooking is required (check our events page for the latest session). We can offer help and advice on slings and you can also hire one of our slings for one month. Hire is £7 with a £20 cash deposit. Please bring the weight of your baby so you can hire the most appropriate sling.
Breastfeeding Café
Our local NCT breastfeeding counsellors and NCT trained peer supporters also support The Breastfeeding Cafe. This is a weekly support session for breastfeeding mums to have a drink and a chat with other breastfeeding parents and share experiences.
