For this First Aid for Babies course you'll be provided with a link to complete an online course with First Aid for Life, our training provider. These award winning, interactive courses have had wonderful feedback and they comply with the very latest resuscitation council guidelines. The course covers steps to take in an emergency including CPR, burns, injuries and choking. You can complete this online course at your leisure, and can start and stop as much as you like, although we recommend trying to complete it by the video session on Thursday 6th August. On average it takes around six hours to complete.
The online courses are fully compatible with all computers and mobile devices and consist of videos, step by step directions and diagrams as well as a multiple choice test at the end which upon successful completion generates a certificate for you. You'll also have access to this course for 12 months so that you can revisit it whenever you like.
Following the online course we will hold a group video session at 7.30pm on Thursday 6th August 2020 with Emma Hammett from First Aid for Life, who will demonstrate again the techniques of CPR, baby recovery, choking and answer any questions that the group have. This video session will last approximately 40 minutes but Emma will stay on to answer as many questions as the group have, and it will be with a group of 20 participants maximum (couples count as 2 participants).
